Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think North n South will taken by 6e ( 6e main del hub) n
West , central n East by jet, ( West hub of jet).
Northeast n rest by SG.
As SG is focusing on amphibian pockets.

Airasia vistara n others will take at least 10more yrs to find pockets or focus on int'l operations.

Its all my guess.

Are there any Elections in Madyapradesh this year ? Just asking
How are elections related to a private airline making Indore a hub for its ATR operations while the bigger airports are choking?

Part of them are under UDAN2 as well.

Was the flurry of flights in Chennai and Hyderabad during the winters also indicated elections in the State when there was none?

Chennai, Hyderabad are metro cities. Any ways just asked. These days Karnataka Airports also getting many flights.

All of sudden this many flights from Indore , so just asked. Even Indore going to get trains to Delhi, Hyderabad. Also Indore - Patna exp freq increse, Indore - Bhopal non stop trains. All gonna start with in few months.

Indore do have potential no doubt about it. Like to see Pune-Indore more frequency.

So just asked, nothing offensive about it.

New Air Asia flight to Surat

Air Asia India is expected to start flight service between Indore and Surat by the end of April.
The airline is now finalizing timings for its Indore-Surat-Indore flight. After finalization of the schedule, the booking will begin.

Recently, a delegation from the airline led by head of commercial Kiran Jain visited the Diamond City and organized a series of meetings with stakeholders from trade and industry, private organizations, NGOs and airport groups crusading for increased air connectivity from Surat last week.
Sources said the airline had conducted a survey for operation to Surat and it revealed vast potential of passenger traffic from Indore to Surat. One of the most important reasons for air traffic is trade ties between the two cities.
Besides diamond, Surat is also a textile manufacturing hub. Traders from both cities move frequently. Earlier, Indian Railways was planning to introduce a train between the two cities but it failed to execute the plan till date.
A member of ‘We Work For A Working Airport At Surat’ (WWWAS) said, “The airline is working to connect Surat with priority sectors, including Indore, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. The flight slots and other permissions from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) are being sought. We expect the airline to start its first flight service after April 20 between Indore and Surat.”

Ah so apparently, the State DOES have plans for an expansion.. This probably made the airlines clamour for parking slots at the airport... I estimate there's space for 15 Narrow-body remote bays already..
