(MIAMI, FL) -- Just when everybody thought the frenzied Miami new condo development scene was stabilizing, here comes a brand new undertaking.

Evangeline Gouletas, a well-known South Florida philanthropic and real estate personality, plans to break ground in November on a multi-million-dollar, 35-story, 369-unit at 900 S. Miami Ave.

The project has a tentative 22-month development schedule, delivering the units just in time for the 2011 and 2012 winter tourism season.

"If Gouletas -- a veteran developer who has built more than 30,000 units nationwide -- can successfully proceed with a financed condo tower at this time, everyone will be forced to rethink their perception about the Greater Downtown Miami residential market."

It's Skyline at Mary Brickell Village, it specifies so in the article. Gouletas is the same guy that built MBV. I'm surprised to see them really going through with this, and in this economic environment.

WOW! This is great. I was wondering what happened to this project and actually gave up on it, of course in these times. If this does get built, we may see a lot more coming. Regardless I hope this goes through and does well. GOOD LUCK!

Gouletas is a girl not a guy, and MBV was built by Constructa.

ladies and gentlemen... evangeline gouletas
Wow, that is a very impressive resume.
As skyscraper aficionados, you have to respect her accomplishments.
Lake Point Tower?? Very impressive.

This woman sets a great example for people who desire to make a difference in the world.

Brilliant move I believe. Timing could be perfect upon completion. Especially at a time when not many are looking to break ground...no competition when the economy and market have ripened perhaps???

Hopefully the building isn't as lame as the video.
