Érd is the biggest city in the suburb of Budapest. There are app. 65 000 inhabitatnts. Every year move here app. 1000 people. But the infrastructure isn't very good.
In the south of the city there are two main road nr. 6 and 7. Now is under construction the new motorway M6 to the M0. In the north of the city there is the M7 motorway, but only one intersection and there is big problem in the rush hour.
Two rail line cross the city in the south: the nr. 30 from Budapest to Székesfehérvár, Nagykanizsa and the nr. 40 from Budapest to Pécs. There are 5 railway station. In the city centre are Érd alsó and Érd felső. These and the Érdliget station were reconstructed in the year 2006-2007. An underpass were built under the two railway line in 2006-2008.
There are some bus lines in the city with connection the neighbour towns and Budapest.
