The Highway your talking about is the same one as the one you can see in CULWULLA's Picture (Sheikh Zayed Road) and Dubai does have a lot of greenery. Most of the major roads have Palm trees, Hedges and flower beds next to it which is landscaped into paterns and they have the most beautifully landscaped interchanges!!!!! And they are busy to make the Dubai more pedestrian friendly with Bikeways, Walkways and with this comes the worlds first Air conditioned bus stops and their new metro system and a Bus system. For a city in the middle of a desert it is doing very good.

Dubai is still developing so don't critisze it before you know the facts!!!
:bash:
What the hell are you talking about you. I never mentioned anything about there being no trees, gardens or flower fucking beds, maybe you want to take time to let what somewhat write sink in first.

Here's a few shots to show that I know Dubai has gardens

As for the facts, I saw the metro being constructed, I climbed one the struts at a what will be a station and took these shots:

As for that freeway, who gives a flying **** if it's the same road or not, it's in a different area of the city, this is the section I was referring to and walked along:

But yes, the new areas have no culture and are lifeless boring canyons, reminded me of DB in Hong Kong, apartment buildings with nothing to offer whatsoever, whereas the old section of Dubai has the souks and the waterfront and at least looks interesting from street level:
