RALAN has now advertised the leasing of retail space. It's poor of them to continue using the render picture when the real building design looks so different. Completion is stated as February 2013.

Even their website has the previous renders plus stating it was due to be completed in late 2011.

I very much doubt these slums will have double glazing, more likely single glazing with an el cheapo attempt at sound proofing.

Judging from previous photos of the towers, it appears that the windows do open.

I believe they meant "can't" in the sense that you would be overwhelmed by railway noise if you did open the windows and would therefore never open them.

Sorry I should have said that you can open the windows, but you wouldn't want to due to the noise. So to get cool you'd have to rely on fans/AC

The windows, when open, look like flapping post-it notes.

Some great photos by Lijman, particularly the with the trains up against the buildings. This development is a lesson in how to cram as much onto a site as engineering will allow. I wonder how much taller those towers could get without the structure toppling over?
